  • Ranked 10th for Medium Business (100-499 employees) Home State Bank is hiring a Loss Mitigation Specialist in Crystal Lake, IL. This is a full-time position. The loss mitigation specialist contacts customers with delinquent accounts, initiates and coordinates appropriate action, and maintains related records. They establish communication with loan customers to arrive at mutually satisfactory arrangements, when possible, while complying with all agency regulations/guidelines and adheres to the appropriate timetable for generating notices. The position completes all functions while embracing and promoting the brand promise of creating connections with internal and external customers. This position is on-site and is not a remote position. Looking for local candidates, as this position doesn't have relocation available.TRAINING AND EXPERIENCEA. Two years' previous experienceB. Forbearance, claims reporting, loss mitigation workouts a plusC. Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and related softwareD. Strong oral and written communication skillsE. Knowledge of regulations and laws by investor, agency and stateF.
