We invite you to be part of our journey.In the role of a 6-month contractor, you will support our project teams with the execution of primary market research, ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of quality and timeliness. You will foster the adoption of industry best practices, particularly in the development and review of surveys and study materials, ensuring they meet our internal quality standards and compliance policies. The position will also support the Managing Directors in their client development efforts with regard to research design and analysis recommendations and will include obtaining external third-party cost estimates for inclusion in client proposals. In this role, you will also work with the Associate Director/Director to develop internal materials for our consulting staff and support the Director of Market Insights in specialized projects.Responsibilities:

• Research Design Guidance: Provide expert guidance and input on primary research designs, sampling plans, survey questionnaires, and analysis approaches to ensure robust and reliable data collection & insights.
• Survey Template Development: Develop standard questionnaire templates tailored to specific industry sectors, enabling consulting staff to efficiently draft study materials.
• Quality Control and Data Integrity: Review and/or write questionnaires and study materials, verify the accuracy of online survey test links, and assess soft launch data to ensure overall data integrity.
• Bid Solicitation: Solicit bid requests from external data collection companies and field agencies to ensure competitive pricing and optimal vendor selection.
• External Communication Quality Assurance: Oversee quality controls for all external communications and vendor deliverables, ensuring consistency and accuracy in project execution.
• Internal Survey Execution: Support the execution of internal surveys and benchmarking initiatives that inform client development strategies and case analyses.
• Software Proficiency Guidance: Provide guidance and demonstrate expertise in various software programs used for internal data analysis, enhancing the team's analytical capabilities.
• Best Practices Promotion: Collaborate with the Associate Director and Director of Market Insights to advance and promote market research best practices among consulting staff.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of relevant market research industry experience, preferably on the supplier side.
  • Strong communications skills, including a comfort level communicating across all levels within the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects at the same time.
  • Broad range of industry B2C and B2B experiences, ideally in the consumer goods and media and technology areas.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
