  • Surgical Technologist - Tier 2 Cardiac Traveler
  • This req is to extend current traveler for 17 weeks, starting on 03/30/2025 - 07/26/2025 and ending on a Saturday.
  • Current assignment dates: 09/23/2024 - 03/29/2025
  • The Surgical Technologist prepares the Operating Room prior to surgery, promotes the safety of the patient during surgery, provides assistance to the surgeon during surgery, cares for the patient during surgery and cares for the instruments and supplies used in surgery.
  • Minimum two years of scrub experience or equivalent relevant experience required.
  • Looking for strong cardiac, thoracic and transplant experience - including heart and lung.

    • Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location.
    • Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization.
    • Current/valid Drivers License required if driving is requirement of the position.
      • Schedule Information
      • 0640-1900 M-F variation
      • Weekend and weekday call expected . 2200-0800. Shift may vary depending on operational need of facility.
