Production Fulfillment Process steps related to the fabrication of
parts according to work order and customer requirements. Ensures
machinery is set up, works properly, and conforms with (and can
produce materials that conform with) company quality, quantity, and
efficiency standards.Operate and set-up Amada Turret Punch
machines. Essential Job FunctionsOperate Turret Punch:Operates
tools according to instructions, specifications, and standard
chartsPlaces and secures work pieces in proper machine table,
holding device, or other appropriate surface using clamps and
wrenchesLoad, operate and manufacture a variety of parts using
various manufacturing equipment to make custom parts according to
customer orders and instructions written on Work Orders and
blueprintsPerform in-process inspection according to standard
proceduresPerform routine daily machine maintenance including
cleaning up and lubricationMaintain a clean and organized work
areaRequirements:Qualifications and CompetenciesPerform work
independently with minimal defectsCommunicate with supervisor on
work order priorityOpen to change due to emergency orders or
fabrication of partsVery good math skillsAbility to understand
drawing and blueprintsAbility to use basic measuring
instrumentsMust be able to work overtime as neededEducation and
ExperiencePrevious Turret Punch experience preferred.A High School
Diploma or GED with prior hands on, vocational or job-related
course work/training, or any similar combination of education and
experience is required. Prior experience in a manufacturing
industry is preferred.Physical RequirementsWhile performing the
duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or
hear. The employee is may be required to sit and reach with hands
and arms. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk and use
hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must frequently lift
and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by
this job include ability to adjust focus.Work EnvironmentThe work
environment is typical of most shop environments; not climate
controlled and subject to outdoor weather conditions. Team members
are exposed to sounds and noise levels that are
distracting.Frequent exposure to fumes/dust particles; may require
use of respirators or other types of PPE.May come in contact with
