Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Toxicologist to provide
technical support in assessing toxicological risks and ensuring
compliance with global regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct toxicological risk assessments of chemical characterization
data for medical devices
Perform hazard assessments and compile literature or computational
modeling for individual chemicals
Coordinate biological safety evaluation programs and communicate
with internal laboratories regarding test lab reports
Required Qualifications and Education
Bachelor's degree in Toxicology or a closely related field;
Master's degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years of technical/scientific writing experience in
the medical device industry
7 years of regulatory or product development experience in the
medical device industry preferred
Experience with chemical characterization testing and biological
evaluation of medical devices required
Knowledge of US FDA and European regulatory requirements for
chemical characterization and biological evaluation
