We are seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to:
Effectively and efficiently decontaminate, clean, sterilize and reprocess patient equipment, surgical instruments, and medical supplies in support of all hospital areas.
Display a wide-range knowledge of ever-changing instrumentation, equipment and techniques.
Work in a fast-paced environment that requires detailed, technical skills.

Minimum Requirements:
q --- Facility Requirement:
o Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (permanent address must be included in traveler's profile including resume, *** profile, onboarding documents).
--- Experience:
o High School Diploma or equivalent
o 2 years' experience in reprocessing
o Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 or 2 - Trauma center or similar size hospital.
o Successfully completed traveler assignment (13 weeks).
--- Licensure and Certification:
o Traveler must have Certification by CBSPD as a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician or IAHCSMM/HSPA as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician.
--- Reference
o Needs 2 completed references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only for work performed in the last two years).

Parking: Permit required through UW Transportation.
