Job Description:

Mechanical Test TechnicianVolt is immediately hiring a Mechanical Test Technician in Lisle, Illinois.In this role, you will be responsible for reading test plans to evaluate performance and reliability of terminals, connectors, and module level products/solutions under exposure to mechanical conditions.The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Experience operating automated mechanical force test equipment and building mechanical fixturing
• Experience setting up and performing various mechanical tests including, but not limited to:
• Connector Mate/Unmate Force Test
• Terminal Insertion/Extraction Force Test
• Contact Beam Normal Force Test
• Automated and Manual Durability Cycling
• Cable Pull Force Test
• Automated Cable Flex Test
• Drop Test
  • Experience completing product evaluation and performance analysis using test results and statistical analysis
