Description:Weldall is seeking an experienced CNC Open Table Set-Up Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining centers with the ability to set up large weldments and select tooling. This position requires the ability to work independently and uphold our commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerforms all tasks in a safe and responsible mannerPerform Open Table Set UpAbility to set up blocksAbility to use indicators and edge findersBe able to make calculated adjustments when neededWork with probes and universal & right angled headsUtilize Heidenhain controlsWork with 5-Axis machinesDetermine stock removal ratesRequirements:Education and ExperienceA minimum of two (2) years of experience as a CNC Open Table Set-Up Machinist required.Experience with Fanuc & Heidenhain Controls preferred.Job shop/Low Volume/Large Weldment experience requiredExperience with tool makingAbility to understand G54 work coordinators with numerous offsetsHigh School diploma or equivalent preferred.Physical DemandsAbility to move or transfer products with an overhead crane and forklift.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when required.While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Career Advancement and Company CultureAt Weldall Manufacturing, Inc., we are committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and career advancement for our employees.
