We are seeking an Ultrasonographer:
The Ultrasonographer performs a wide variety of routine and complex ultrasound procedures. The Ultrasonographer is expected to perform Ultrasound imaging such as pelvic, abdominal, small parts and routine vascular examinations and may perform more complex imaging such as deep Doppler and guided interventional procedures such as biopsies and ablations as well as musculoskeletal ultrasound.

Minimum Requirements:
Facility Requirement:
Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (permanent address must be included in traveler's profile including resume, *** portal, onboarding documents).
Experience:
Previous healthcare experience
Work Experience Preferred: Two (2) years clinical experience
Successfully completed traveler assignment (13 weeks).
Licensure and Certification:
Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS) in a minimum of two concentrations. RDMS in Abdomen, Ob/Gyn, Breast or Pediatric Sonography or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT). Please include copy of current certifications in the profile showing concentrations and expiration dates.
BLS - must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY
Education:
Graduate of accredited ultrasonography program and/or registered by the American - Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) required.
Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree in relevant field
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Perform a wide variety of routine and complex ultrasound procedures, including pelvic, abdominal, small parts and routine vascular examinations and may perform more complex imaging.
Perform clinical examinations on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups.
Work at a variety of locations, including a Level 1 Trauma Center, critical care facility and several clinics in the Madison area.
Reference
Needs 2 completed references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only for work experience in the last two years).

Floating:
Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.

Parking: Free parking onsite

Position Urgency:
Normal

Shifts:
40 hrs/week, Days/Evenings, weekend position: Fri, Sat, Sun: 7 am - 7 pm. Shifts may vary depending on operational needs of facility. Call support as needed. 16 week assignment.
