TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Chicago, Illinois, 60612 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid 4x10-Hour (1:00 PM - 11:30 PM), Monday through Friday Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: - Must have 2 years of recent acute care experience in PACU with Level I trauma - 1-2 years of critical care experience - Must have ventilator experience License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, PALS, and BLS Must-Have: - COVID-19 Vaccine: Required with proof of vaccination one week prior to start date (Booster not required) - Flu Vaccine status unknown Job Description: - Provide high-quality care to post-anesthesia patients in a PACU setting - Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and care standards - Adapt to various clinical settings; may be requested to float to different units within a specified range - Compliance with immunization requirements - Participate in an orientation program - Follow scheduling guidelines, including restrictions on requested time off Additional Notes: - Floating: Clinicians may be floated to different units if required, within a 50-mile range, with two hours' notice before the shift - RTO (Requested Time Off): Maximum of 5 days with no more than 2 consecutive, none allowed the day before or after a holiday, and not on weekends 26090005EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Core Competency Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
